Right now I am engaged in an ultra-budget (think sleeping and eating for US $5 a day or less) trip that will take me around the world over the course of two and a half years (I think). While I am going around the world I am NOT trying to see "The Whole World" on this trip. For example, I visited China for 2 months but spent that whole period in one little fascinating province called Yunnan.

I am concentrating on a few select countries on this journey: Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Thailand, Laos, a bit of China & Tibet, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and potentially a few European countries by bike (to visit old & new friends encountered in South America & Asia).
